As a decorator I must confess the satisfaction that comes from talking about one of my passions: the textile universe. The photos that illustrate this article are those of Tempo, one of the new collections of upholstery and wallpapers of the firm Harlequin – one of my favorites for its exoticism – that in a sophisticated and vibrant way transports us to the past through its elegant proposal.
Upset in prints that convey the spirit of previous decades, the use of gigantic flowers with hippie air but very current and the presence of interesting geometric forms (The retro effect establishes its definitive and necessary space both in fashion and in decoration), they mark the novel point and the character of the line. Everything perfectly balanced and with the stripes as an essential element.
The possibilities for coordinate the colors and its distribution over shapes and embroidery guarantee the fresh and youthful air that demands Tempo.
It is worth taking a look at the other collections to get inspired. We emphasize, among others, the childlike What a Hoot, the harmonious Amilie, the exotic Lalika or the impressive Identity; all of them ideal.
