Anne-Mette Jensen and Morten Ernst designed the In Duplo sofa series for the Danish furniture manufacturer Erik Jørgensen. In Duplo is a series of two In Duplo High & Low kitchens designed with a common theme. Each sofa consists of a corpus-shaped wing containing a composition of cushions. As in a stone circle where each element is modified and finds its natural orientation. Duplo appears as a semiotic sign and a strong graphic and organic expression that refers to the new modernism of Danish Furniture Design in the early 1950s. In Duplo High and Low, both have a dynamic sprocket expression and straight and quiet facades. The legs, powder coated aluminum, look like elastic bridges under the organic body.
